Democratic tech volunteers · North Texas
Campaigns need technical help. Volunteers can cover it.
Engineers, designers, analysts and organizers volunteering for down-ballot Democratic campaigns across North Texas. We build what a campaign cannot afford to hire.

Why this exists
Technology is one of the cheapest advantages a small campaign can get.
A school board candidate rarely loses because their platform was wrong. More often they lose because the website took six weeks, the volunteer list lived in three spreadsheets, and nobody had time to figure out the texting tool before early voting started.
Those are solvable problems. They are solvable by people who already know how, in the evenings, for free. That is the idea behind Texas Progress Tech.
We know the ground
The races are here and most of our volunteers are too, so we know the counties, the deadlines and the ballot.
We hand over the keys
Everything we build belongs to the campaign, including domains, accounts and documentation.
We say no clearly
If we cannot help, or we are not the right people, we tell you straight away rather than leaving you waiting.
